A MEANINGFUL LIFE

     Do you know your life has meaning?  Everyone deserves to have a life filled with meaning, making decisions based on whatever would bring them fulfillment and joy on every level.

     What if you could really get to know who you are both on a soul level and on your subconscious level?  What if you could move through your life with certainty, knowing you are accomplishing your purpose in life while you are enjoying a beautiful life?  What if, at the end of this lifetime, you could leave with no regrets, knowing you have lived the life you incarnated for and make your transition with great peace of mind?  You can.  Start thinking about what’s truly most important to you, those ideas or practices, people or things that add meaning to your life spiritually and in your personal life, and then follow that path.  It’s as simple as that.

     Whether you are passionate about a person or a philosophy that moves you, a place you’d like to travel to or your career that you find rewarding, your life should be filled with all that means the most to you.

     Unfortunately, we often find ourselves lost, very busy doing lots of things, but never taking time to question if we still want to do these things or why we’re doing them.  It’s easy for habit to take over, even if it’s not a good habit since our subconscious, our inner child, loves things to stay the same, even when they don’t make sense anymore.  Our soul is the part of us that wants more from life, that insists on bringing more meaning to life for we incarnated to learn from our daily experiences and as we grow, we feel a need to express our spirituality on a more consistent basis.

     Expressing our spirituality does not mean acting holy or pious or thinking we must limit our enjoyment of life.  Expressing our spirituality means we view life from a higher level of consciousness, expressing our Divine connection that exists within each of us, that we treat people with compassion and understanding instead of judging them, that we are motivated by Divine, Unconditional Love, and therefore we seek to bring out the best in ourselves and others.  It means enjoying life on all levels for we all deserve to have the best in life both in our personal lives and in our spiritual lives as well.

     It’s time to take a break from our usual busy daily routine and question what is most important to us.  Most of life is much simpler than the difficult task we’ve made it, but we need to start thinking differently in order to lighten up and bring joy back to life.  We must remember that we are the soul, an intelligent creative entity, connected to the greater universe with the power to create a beautiful, meaningful life.  Or we can simply remain so busy with endless tasks that we miss out on the wonderful opportunity to bring out the best version of ourselves.  The choice is ours.

     Whatever your life’s profession may be, adding more meaning to your life will help bring out the best in you.  Whether you’re a carpenter or a teacher, a mother or father, an accountant, mechanic or therapist, you’ll find greater fulfillment in every role you play when you add meaning to your life.  It’s the idea of a purpose-filled life.  When we are passionate about our endeavors, life takes on more meaning.  So it starts with deciding what would you really like in your life?  What would you like to have, be or do?  Envision what would make your life complete.

     Creating a great life will be very different for each person since we all have such individual wants and needs.  But we do share some common goals such as good health, loving relationships, a place we can call home, a career or other activity that fulfills us, financial serenity, healthy self-esteem and a greater understanding of who we are spiritually.  Look at these and other areas in your life and get clear on what you want.  Both the soul and subconscious must get involved in this process as each has needs of their own, but since the soul is connected to the greater universe, it will have a deeper understanding about what would bring meaning to life both spiritually and personally.  Then literally write it down for yourself, make a list of what you want for the subconscious works well with this kind of visual direction.  Your imagination is a great creative tool to begin the process of manifesting a better quality of life.  For the soul, spiritual meditation gives it greater insight into its spiritual identity and purpose in life.

     If this sounds difficult, realize that it’s not.  We all have a spiritual connection that has never been broken and by slowing down, allowing ourselves time to think and then following through on our ideas, we will be guided through each step on our path towards creating our most fulfilling life.
